This course is designed to give graduates career
training in an exciting global industry. It is focused on providing
the knowledge and skills for career mobility into positions including,
travel consulting, working in airline reservations, or tour planning
and operating. With a strong practical emphasis, the program includes
training in planning, building, marketing and managing a business
operating in the Travel & Tourism Industry. A Tourism qualification
can lead to work and further study abroad.

Students entering this field of study seeking
rewarding careers in the airlines, tour booking and wholesale tour
operations industry are equipped with manual and computer based
reservation systems and tour marketing knowledge to gain a competitive
advantage in the tourism industry.
Positions in the tour package development, optional
tour marketing and the airlines industry does not only exist domestically
but internationally. This opens a wide world of job opportunities
in tourism based industries. Many tourism graduates use their qualifications
in the wholesale and tour guiding industry to administer the daily
operations and bookings of tours that extend from rewarding ocean
cruises to 4WD trekking and restaurant dining. If you are concerned

increase and update knowledge of the hospitality industry
