JOB PLACEMENT ASSIST PROGRAM

Employment Assist is a service provided by Mackintosh College designed to help you get part or full time work in a new job while you are studying at the College. As employers require qualifications and industry experience, upon successful completion of your studies at Mackintosh College this leads to new career paths and a successful reward job pathway.

WHAT DOES EMPLOYMENT ASSIST OFFER?

Mackintosh Staff will help you to:

• Write Your Resume

• Gain Work Experience

• Locate Available Jobs – many jobs of which have not been advertised anywhere else!

• Write Cover Letters for Job Applications

• Find Out About Transport Options to Employment Interviews and Jobs

• Provide a Computer and Desk Space to Work on Getting a Job

And if necessary:

• Apply for Student VISA with permission to work to enter your new job

• Apply for a Tax File Number for your job

• Open a Bank Account where funds from your new job can be deposited

HOW DO I JOIN?

Simply tick the Employment Assist box on your enrolment form or let your trainer or a Mackintosh Staff Member know. Membership is available for only $165.00.

Employment Assist will help you to find a job, and help you to keep it!
