ACTIVITIES
The Mackintosh College Activities centre co-ordinates and promotes a wide range of social, sporting, cultural and tourism related activities. These may be organised during the week or on weekends throughout the year. Participation in these activities and outings provides students with the opportunity to do things they may not have done on their own. The activities encourage interaction and allow the building of relationships between students which fosters cultural awareness and understanding.
In addition to regular social activities and excursions for students hosted by Mackintosh International College Australia, the Gold Coast offers a wide range of activities that include:
• Surfing – experience some of the best surfing beaches in the world
• Golf – play on one of 23 Championship golf courses
• A wide range of musical and theatrical concerts and events
• Boating – go water-skiing, boating or sailing on the Gold Coast Broadwater
• Horse-riding
• Nature walks and sightseeing in the rainforests of nearby National Parks.
• Vibrant nightlife with many restaurants, nightclubs and entertainment venues
• The Annual Gold Coast Indy Champ Car Race, and the Gold Coast Marathon
• Theme parks – have fun at Seaworld, Movie World, and Dreamworld or Wet n'Wild Water Park.
