If you are looking for a career or part-time work in the Gaming Industry or have recently relocated from Interstate, this course will provide you with the necessary competency.  Society and government regulations require that gambling be monitored and patrons supported to avoid potential issues.  It has become accepted best practice that all employees in the gaming industry hold a Responsible Gambling Services certificate.

The course is delivered on campus by Industry professionals, in either daytime or evening classes to suit your availability.  A lecture style course, you will learn about current gambling regulations and the techniques for identifying problems and dealing with patrons.  With a working knowledge of current legislation, you will become a valuable prospective employee in a continually growing sector of the hospitality industry.

Upon achieving the outcomes of the course you will attain a partial certificate in Certificate I in Hospitality (Operations).  The Responsible Gambling Services competency covered is currently recognised in Queensland only, however it is fully transferable to further hospitality studies.  To maximize employability and promotional potential, consider combining your Responsible Gambling Services course with a Responsible Service of Alcohol course and attainment of a Gaming Licence , a licence that is becoming increasingly sought after by industry employers and take advantage of a 10% discount off the second course.
