HOW TO ENROL

Mackintosh College offers a variety of educational pathways to suite international student requirements. From short term courses to 2 year study programs at Certificate III and Diploma level. To apply for a course at Mackintosh College , follow the instructions below ensuring all requested information is completed to assist us with formalising your enrolment.

1.
Read the Mackintosh International College ( Australia ) course materials.
2.
Check the entry requirements for English levels and academic qualifications necessary to enter your selected course.

For Certificate and Diploma programs a completion of year 10 or international equivalent is required. Note: To benefit from Academic articulation pathways students may be required to show a higher level academic standing on enrolment.

For English Language prerequisites f or Certificate and Diploma programs, students from a non-English speaking background must demonstrate they have an English proficiency similar to an IELTS score of 5.0. To confirm language ability, students must present results of an IELTS test (or other internationally recognised test, e.g. Cambridge FCE, TOEFL or TOEIC), or can submit to a test to be conducted internally by Mackintosh English language department.

In some countries only IELTS results are acceptable for student visa purposes. Check http://www.immi.gov.au/students/index.htm for student visa details.

Fill in the Mackintosh International College (Australia) online enrolment form, and ensure that you agree to the application agreement acknowledging you have read, understood and agree to comply with Mackintosh International College (Australia) terms and conditions.

Make sure you clearly say which course/s you wish to study and the dates you wish to start. If you are applying for a Diploma course attach copies of all academic qualifications - sc hool/college/university results or statements and official English Language test results e.g. IELTS /TOEFL. These copies must be marked as true copies of the original by an authorised Mackintosh College representative, an Australian Diplomatic Mission or their suitably approved organisation.

Submit the application and all forms directly to Mackintosh College or through your local representative who will forward them to us. If you have no representative you may send them directly to Mackintosh College for processing. We will confirm receipt of your application and if it is accepted you will receive a “letter of conditional offer” and “statement of fees payable” detailing dates of course commencement and payment details.
5.
To accept an offer to study at Mackintosh College you will need to pay the fees and charges due listed in your “statement of fees payable”. This may be the full fees for English language or partial fees for Certificate or Diploma studies, along with payment of Overseas Health Cover, Airport transfers and homestay if requested. Payment may be made directly to our Education representative or directly to the college if you are an independent applicant. When your payment has been made the College we will issue a C.O.E (Confirmation of Enrolment) which you will need to present to an Australian Diplomatic Mission when applying for a visa to study in Australia . Your representative would normally assist you with this.
6.
Each student visa application is assessed according to an assessment level. International Visa assessment levels are determined by the passport you hold and your Visa subclass. Student Visas are issued when certain conditions are met.
