Do you have payment plans for your courses? |
International Students: An initial 25% of total course tuition fees + materials fee + OSHC deposit. The remaining 75% balance of tuition fees can be paid on a term by term basis every 3 months until course completion).

Teachers' qualifications and experience? |
All trainers at Mackintosh International College ( Australia ) have a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience with related academic qualifications.
All trainers have been screened by the Commission for Children and Young People and issued with a Blue Card. |

What are your course delivery and assessment standards? |
Mackintosh College has personnel with appropriate qualifications and experience to deliver the training and facilitate the assessment relevant to the training products offered. Assessment will meet National Assessment Principles (including Recognition for Prior Learning and Credit Transfer). Adequate facilities, equipment and training materials will be utilised to ensure the learning environment is conducive to the success of trainees. |

Can I get time off University or short track to University? |
Yes. Diploma course content is nationally recognised by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Universities accept these qualifications when applying for short tracking or time off at University level. This will differ between Universities as their student intake numbers and entry level pathways differ.
A half to one year exemption off University related courses is the general short track pathway. |

How hard are the courses? |
The courses are not difficult and experienced trainers are there to assist you with your studies. The courses are based on training packages which are nationally endorsed standards and qualifications for recognising and assessing people's skills in a specific industry. The training packages describe the skills and knowledge that individuals need to perform effectively in the workplace. It is the trainers task to deliver these packages in an easy to understand format. This is achieved by class room activities, filed trips, group activities, etc. |

What is the cheapest course? |
The cheapest course is our advanced cocktails short course. |

What is a beginner's level course? |
There are many entry level short courses that run from 1 to 2 weeks in duration. The short courses are designed for students seeking part time or casual work which full time Diploma students study to gain casual employment and an income. Short courses include bar, gaming, coffee, cocktail, computer and front office related courses. |

Where do I look for jobs? |
There is a job club at the college that students can job for an additional fee that will create a professional resume and seek jobs on your behalf. |

What are your college entry requirements? |
A successful completion of year 10 or an international equivalent is required for Certificate or Diploma courses.
For international students from a non-English speaking background an IELTS score of 5.0 is required. To confirm language ability, students must present results of an IELTS test (or other internationally recognized test, e.g. Cambridge FCE, TOEFL or TOEIC), or can submit to a test to be conducted internally by Mackintosh English language department. |
