HOW TO BECOME AN AGENT

1. AGENT INFORMATION

All information on becoming an agent and what it means to be an agent for Mackintosh College can be found on the college's website. Further information can be provided to you upon request by us, including the commission structure and levels for agents.

2. APPLICATION PROCESS

If you would like to proceed with applying to become an agent after reading the information, please complete the online Agent Application Form located through the college's website.

3. CANDIDACY ACCEPTANCE

Upon receiving your application, Mackintosh College will review it and if suitable, approve you as an agent with a candidacy status. This means you are approved to operate as an agent for Mackintosh College , and your full application will be reviewed over the three months of your candidacy stage. Upon being accepted with a candidacy status, Mackintosh College will send you a complete Marketing Pack which will include all the resources you would require to market the college to your clients.

If a student/s is received from your organisation during your “Candidacy Status” period, you will be upgraded to a 1 year agency agreement before the 3 month “Candidacy Status” is reached.”

4. CANDIDACY PERIOD

During your candidacy period, it is expected you will follow the Terms of Dealing as outlined in your application process. The Terms of Dealing outline the expectations that the college has of agents and the manner in which Mackintosh College should be marketed and courses sold to your clients. We have a firm belief in the college and the services offered and would not like any of this to be compromised.

The candidacy period is valid for 3 months from the date of application and is documented on your candidacy acceptance certificate. The purpose of this period is for you to demonstrate to Mackintosh College that you are prepared to form a long term relationship with us. We value our agents and like to know we can have a long term relationship with all of our agents that are going to work for both us and you or your organisation.

5. STATUS REVIEW

At the end of your candidacy period, Mackintosh College will assess the relationship over the three month period and if appropriate, promote you or your organisation to an Agent Status. In late 2006, Mackintosh College will be implementing a new Agent Status outline which will show the different stages and the advantages each stage has. For the moment, if your status is changed to Agent, Mackintosh College will organise a Marketing Pack to be posted to you which will include a stockpile of marketing materials for you to distribute along with an official Mackintosh College Agent plaque for you to put on your wall.

6. AGENT STATUS REVIEW

Regularly throughout the year, Mackintosh College reviews the performance of its agents and determines whether they are entitled to a higher level or be changed to a different level depending on the performance of the agent. Continued enrolments from an agent demonstrate the long term commitment and show the dedication you have to promoting Mackintosh College . In return, we want to make sure we look after you and provide you with the resources and appropriate incentives to continue building the relationship with us.
