Effective customer service is what will transform an average business operation into a business leader. This course will provide graduates with the opportunity to operate effectively in positions in a variety of roles including sales, customer service and call centre operations. From market research to customer behaviour, this course will introduce you to all the product and sales strategies required for the up and coming campaign. Students learn how to define their customers' needs and design their products and business to meet these needs.

Apply knowledge of OHS legislation in the workplace This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to apply understanding of occupational health and safety in the workplace including legislation, compliance, codes and standards. BSBOHS301B
Develop product knowledge This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to develop product knowledge in preparation for the sales process. BSBPRO401A
Work effectively with others This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required for group work promoting team effectiveness and includes effectively dealing with issues, problems and conflict. BSBWOR203A
Organise personal work priorities and development This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to organise and prepare own work schedules, to maintain competence and seek feedback on performance. BSBWOR301A
Conduct a telemarketing campaign This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to undertake a telemarketing campaign which may involve inbound and outbound calling. BSBCCO303A
Provide sales solutions to customers This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to process sales enquires requiring complex solutions and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. BSBCCO304A

DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT METHODS

  • Most classes are conducted in an interactive fashion. Students are expected to ask questions and actively contribute to class discussions and be involved. A student needs to be an active member of the class rather than a passive member. Students are required to comply with college policy on attendance and academic performance. At the start of each module students are notified of the content, assessment methods, time frames and targeted outcomes.

 

COURSE OUTCOME

  • On successful completion of the Certificate III in Customer Contact the student will be awarded a nationally recognised Certificate by Mackintosh International College (Australia).
